Welcome to Family Orientation 2026!
Family Orientation for the Class of 2030 will take place Saturday, August 29, through Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
During this program, we welcome new Columbia families and guests and help prepare you and your student for the transition to college life and the move to Morningside Heights. Please be sure to register under the correct student population, as each group has programming tailored to their unique transition:
- First-Year Students
- International Students
- Transfer and Combined Plan Students
- Visiting and Exchange Students
This registration is intended for family members and guests. Students are welcome to attend many Family Orientation programs; however, they will also have separate required New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) activities.
Please note: This registration is only for Family Orientation and does not include move-in appointments or move-in registration. Information and instructions regarding move-in will be provided separately by the University and are not associated with this registration. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to the Columbia community!
