The Engineering General Reunion Weekend  includes the following offerings for Friday and Saturday: 

• All intellectual programs including: faculty lectures, alumni panels, and on campus tours and exhibitions (more information on intellectual programming will come at a later date).
• All community gatherings including: the Alumni of Color Reception, LGTBQ+ Reception, Veterans Reception, and Performing Arts Reception, 
• Saturday Lunch Under the Tent
• Starlight Celebration
• Access to the new Lion's Lounge - the hospitality tent on Low Plaza, which includes grab-and-go snacks and beverages, and entertainment throughout the weekend

Reunite with classmates and friends for a casual meetup at a Midtown bar to kick off Columbia Reunion. The 15th Reunion Committee is finalizing a location - more details to come! 

Join Columbia Engineering milestone reunion classes, along with all other alumni, for dinner in celebration of the start of Columbia Reunion 2024! There will be an awards presentation by the Columbia Engineering Alumni Association.

Climb more than 124 feet on this adventurous tour that includes spiral staircases to get to the top of the world’s largest cathedral. Hear the stories of the stained-glass windows and sculptures, and study the cathedral’s grand architecture.

Learn about this iconic neighborhood’s history, from the American Revolution to the Harlem Renaissance and beyond, and get to know the people and places considered central to African-American identity in the United States.

Stops include churches, theaters, mansions and some of NYC’s finest residential architecture. The tour will conclude in “Little Senegal,” home to NYC’s largest West African community.

Learn about contemporary West African migration to the U.S., visit local markets, meet business owners and, most importantly, enjoy the chance to eat plenty of traditional West African food!

Explore recreated tenement apartments and local neighborhoods on a private walking tour. Discover often-forgotten places, unexplored spaces and the many histories of migration over centuries on New York City’s Lower East Side.

Experience the Met Museum like never before! Guided by a Met expert, discover works that span 5,000 years of art and culture across a diverse collection.

This two-hour walking tour will cover the West Village. Led by Christopher Street Tours, it will cover some of the most important LGBTQ+ history and sites in the fight for equality.

Join your peers for a "classmates only" party at Bowlero Chelsea Piers before walking next door to meet significant others and friends for the all-class Chelsea Piers Party. Enjoy private bowling lanes, a signature blue cocktail, and light bites. Encouraged dress is black-tie and blue jean!

The Columbia School of General Studies has long been home to some of the world’s leading performing artists. Guests are invited to join a thrilling evening of live dance and music performances by talented Columbia alumni and students. Performances will be followed by Q&A and a dessert reception.

Enjoy dinner, drinks, and dancing with Columbia College, Columbia Engineering, Columbia General Studies, and Barnard College classmates and friends as the sun sets at Pier Sixty, one of Manhattan’s most spectacular waterfront venues!

Children ages 3 to 12 can enjoy a full program run by Corporate Kids Events, a child care program in existence since 1998.

Activities will be available from morning to evening on Saturday, June 1st, with a break to join family members at the Lunch Under the Tents, included in the price. Breakfast and dinner will be served on-site.

Enjoy breakfast followed by Dean Josef Sorett’s State of the College address and the presentation of the President’s Cup, the highest recognition awarded by the Columbia College Alumni Association for service in a reunion year.

Visit Columbia’s most iconic library reading room for an exclusive display of treasures from the collection. This browsable open house exhibit specifically curated for the class of ‘89 includes: items related to Columbia University history, archival items from our special collections hand-picked by curators who will be on hand to greet you, and materials that showcase the incredible impact of library collections on the student learning experience today.

In one visit, you’ll step back in time to your study days in Butler 301 and simultaneously experience an invigorating glimpse into the Columbia student experience of the present and future. Ann Thornton, Vice Provost & University Librarian, will be in room 301 at 2pm and 3pm with brief remarks to welcome you back into your library.

Return to the classroom with old friends to share stories on how Columbia has affected your life since graduation. Everyone is welcome to share reflections!

Join a panel of distinguished guests for an interactive session exploring how Columbia's Center for Veteran Transition and Integration (CVTI) empowers other organizations to better serve and support Veteran and Military-Connected communities. 

As we celebrate the grand opening of the center's new home on campus, we're excited to take this opportunity to highlight the center's past accomplishments and introduce our plans for the future.
